I played the demo, and beat the boss on dungeon floor 9. I clicked on a wedge of cheese on a pedestal. The wedge of cheese rose up into the air, and the game softlocked.

Is that supposed to be the end of the game? I can't do anything else. I can't save the game because I'm not "in an empty room". I can't switch to map view, because it's stuck and that button just isn't working right now. But there wasn't anything else on the map anyway.

Not sure how old the demo build is (The gems look completely different to me in that screenshot.) but yes, you beat the floor 9 boss and that would be the end of a normal run.

There's a lot more in the actual game.
4 more characters with unique play styles and gimmicks (and tons of items unique to them)
A Story Final Boss (if doing story mode, Quick Play is still a thing if story isn't something you care about)
Apparently they're planning for a total of 7 characters so 2 more on the way.

If you're on the fence about it I'd say get it. It's a really fun.
