Hey devs someone ripped off your game

Hiker: Heropack creed looks to be a blatant ripoff of your game on mobile. Wasn't sure if you are aware of it but I like this little gem and would hate to see you lose sales to it.

Yeah I didn't know the game was ripping off this one. It was ok but now that I have seen this legit one I'm thinking of buying it.

Oh and good news the time I posted this the game got flagged as advertising fraud. Lmao serves them right

At this point, the legit one isn't much better.

The earlier build of it seemed to actually rip assets. Despite only changing the main character's sprite and adding micro transactions, it seems to have changed more since then. Sadly, it seems it may be the only way to get it in mobile.

It's a shame, cause it's a great concept for a mobile game.

Lol, it has to change, at this point; the devs aren't producing anything else to rip off!

The devs know about heropack and have tried several times to remove it, also the devs from what they have said they have not been active because of issues with a team that had to port the game to other platforms.
They might be porting the game to mobile and doing that might get rid of the ripoff.

That post was made 6 months ago, when they were still working on it. This is a necro thread.
Also, game mechanics aren't copyright-able (at least in the us), so it's shady, but there's not really anything they can do about it.

You'd think they wouldn't be, and they certainly shouldn't be, but the sanity meter from Eternal Darkness was allowed to be patented for some stupid reason, so you never know.
