Town reset 8 hours into playthrough.

Been playing the game since it hit 1.0, fresh save and played for 8 hours then after going to the bramble and defeating the bird dude, completing that level and the next and coming back to the village it had reset to when you first arrive there. All buildings had been removed, all debris was back. Has this been a bug for anyone else?

Just got same bug. But much earlier, after like 2-3 runs.
... Think we'll have to wait a little more for fixes.

Testing branch was more stable in terms of keeping progress.

Yeah i got a similiar experience, with the difference that my town got beamed to the future. I suddenly had 50 buildings, I never built. Looks like i loaded a save from another person.

This may be recoverable, do not open the game right now, if you're in-game, close with ALT-F4, do not quit using ingame menus.

DM me on steam or discord and I'll help you recover your save.

I sadly just saw this post and have already saved using the menus as i wasnt sure what had happened

i sent the friend request, if i cant recover it im not to worried as i love this game enough to build stuff back up but you know if there is a chance why not take it

nah it's fine, it only took me a couple minutes to replace all the buildings but just wanted to bring the bug to your attention. will let you know if it happens again
