A party game with no local co-op doesn't work well. I see that's not on your road map either. You might want to consider offering a friend pass copy for every copy purchased to help your player base. This can be a buy one get one, if you don't want to do additional coding. Or with a bit of work you could create a separate launcher that only allows a person to play with a Steam friend who owns a copy. I've had my eye on this game for a while. I would buy it immediately if there was a way to play local multiplayer. My idea would be to play it mostly with family/friends on a steam deck connected to the TV.
