The setting, art and music are amazing.
You can easily unlock the DLC (search this forum).
It plays great with a 360 controller, I haven't tried playing this with KB/ mouse but the controls are fully customizable.
Played through the game twice and I didn't encounter any real bugs. The game also ran very smooth on my aging system (i7 920 560ti).
I NEVER had any bugs, so I can't comment about them. Definitely worth 12€. I'm going to have my 3rd playthrough soon.
Was that because you did two playthroughs instead of just one on hard? Probably the best way to do it!
Hopefully I hit 100% on my 3rd playthrough.
Its like waiting weeks to get a ticket to the zoo so you can see the baby panda and then finding out the baby panda smokes crack and is just being cute for the money. And its not even doing a good job. The baby panda doesn't like you, the zoo or its mother. It just wants more crack.
Do you know why you have to turn the crank? You have to turn the crank because they made the gorgeous crank and leaky valve artwork. There's no point in turning the crank but they'e so pround of the steam valve that flys over when you turn it that they just had to stick a crank on that pointless platform you're on.
I don't think its much like the original story. Its more like they ripped off the imagery and added an aged slattern with fighting mechanics as tired as her heavy eyeshadow look.
Well, like I said, for five bucks its a bargain.
want more for your buck? quit buying games that are so short. now for the sale price it sounds like a real bargain, hell almost any game is at that price. but we as a gaming community need to start demanding more content. just my opinion.
It's not like I, or most people out there, have all the time in the world to go through 20h+ games. Besides, quality over quantity. It's easier to make good short game than good long game. The only long games I like are RPGs, but they usually are long for a reason (Elder Scrolls, for example).
He's talking about *content*, not necessarily length of plot or gameplay. Even if we were talking plot-focused games, they used to have around 12-20 hours for the main storyline playthrough for those inclined to have a shorter 'beginning to end' experience -- with enough *extra* content or depth of gameplay to last well over 60.
Games today ship with linear 8-15 hour on-rails roller coaster rides (with the depth of gameplay lacking, as well as extra content), so you're getting less hobby for your money. Considering good games allow you to get the main shorter experience as well, it's not a question of games being 'too long'. It's a result of watered-down game design.
Oh and yes, the first game is better to me too. You really can't beat that soundtrack. It's sublime.
