Alice: Madness Returns

Alice: Madness Returns

I'm stuck at one of the jumping puzzles. How do I get around it?
I'm stuck, and fairly early on in the game. It's a jumping/platform area and I just don't have the coordination to get through it. I tried a trainer, but it crashes the game right as I'm about to hit the next check point. Is there any other way to get past these?

Try going from the keyboard / mouse to a controller for certain jumping sections.
Especially the side view ones, some can also just take time, and practice. You may not get it your first run through, but after a while of jumping you get used it and can go back on another run through.
Some jumps, you need to have Alice twirl while in the air and only by doing so; you get more familiar with it as you go along, choosing which jumping technique works best at each Check Point.
You can expect a lot of jumping through the entire game. Don't get discouraged it just takes a bit of time.
Hope that helps you, its a really cool game once you get the controlling down. :)
Honestly, you're better off just playing through the whole game with a controller. Between laggy mouse input while in Aiming mode, to all of the various mechanics while locked on to a foe, and the platforming sections.. Sad as it is, Alice is a console game made to run on PC. While there are massive perks for running the PC version (especially with a GTX560 or better), the controls are not one of them.

Thanks folks. i'm TERRIBAD with controllers. i did work at it quite a bit before looking for the hax. Some day i'll come back to it.
Well, you'll have to suck it up since the keyboard/mouse controls are a lot worse and far clunkier than using a controller.

I wouldn't mind finding some sorta cheat code, teak, or mod to increase jump distance just to get through a few points later on.
I'm not much of a platformer, this might be the only one I own, but I enjoy the game for it's theme and graphics.

you can tweak jumping distance and stuff of the like in the .ini files but i honestly wouldnt mess with it (not like you cant triple jump float and dodge foreward while you jump anyway) best bet get a controller and use it

It helps to double jump to jump a little higher and you can glide for a little extra distance. This game is easy for the most part.

Make the most of every jump chance, distance and momentum is often more vital than height. And remember that floating/gliding kills any horizontal momentum, I rarely ever used it on the PS3 version. Leaving this comment here in case you get stuck again.
