The lack of bosses is also painful throughout the whole game... that's why I still prefer the original American McGee's Alice, more weapons, more places, end-level bosses... more EVERYTHING.
This is still a good game, it's just that after the masterpiece that was its predecessor, I expected more, maybe too much...
But the bosses... man I can't tell you how disappointed I was with that cutscene at the end of the Hatter's domain, where the dormouse and the hare were controlling that giant robot thing, I though "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this is it, epic boss battle incoming" aaaand it was nothing. It looks like they had it planned and then said, ah screw it, too much to do / we don't have time and / or resources... so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disappointing.
End of the rant.
i remember that cutscene , onestly i felt a little disappoiinted at first (like you i was preparing for a big fight ) ,but then also felt a little relief :) , that robot seemed waaayy tooo big to be damaged :))
because its a water-level... there are no good water-level. they are all evil and bad to the roots
look at that Bioshock crap
lol jk
biosock ples in teh skie yo stoopit
Guess if I had to pick it would be a specific part of a chapter; either when you first arrive at the Valley of Tears or the floating card castle before the Queen's Domain. Both were jaw dropping and pretty cool transition from outside the Chapter to the "main plot" of the chapter.
Have playing the first game I will say that to me the first seems way bigger than it was, maybe a little to bigger for it's own right. The bosses were pretty standard once your discovered which to use ( except the jabberwocky. That fight was a nightmare incarnated). It's kind of funny playing a game from 2000 or older nowadays. It makes you wonder how much things are different.
since you mention it : do you know where i could buy the first one? i would like to play it, but i have yet to find it somewhere.
Or, you can always hunt down a retail version online.
And then this
Keep in mind that is a 4 years old thread, lol.
I'd say if you really want to be sure just find a physical copy somewhere... might be hard to find though.
