Bugs on pc

I havent even gotten 4 hours in and I cant use the umbrella block to defeat this boss and move onto the next chapter? is this a forever issue or something i have to go into my file for?

Try this. If this one doesn't work, there's TONS of other solutions for this issue on here too if you just look for them.

Are you playing with a controller? If so, have you tried pressing A while holding the left trigger? I was struggling too until I figured out that's how you use the Umbrella.

Also, the umbrella doesn't block every single type of attack. Only certain types of projectiles and you have to open it a few seconds before the projectile is fired at you. I have found that dodging works better against the projectiles fired by the Colossal Ruin for example.

Thank you very much! I like the game a lot and was a bit disappointed when I got stuck because the giant stomp wasn't working. But with your instructions everything got fixed! It was really easy after watching your video. Now I can finish the game :)
