Subtitle Font is too small
It's too hard to read when you're playing from a TV far away. :meatytears:
Is there a way to increase the font size?
Thanks.

I am also with this problem

Been trying to find the solution in the files, but got nothing. The game even has all the subtitles in text form, but never seems to use the files containing them. Tried to modify some, but it had no effect.

I just leave it here in case someone will search for a solution.

For english version open .\My Games\Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config\AliceEngine.ini and set the following fields:
SubtitleFontName=EngineFonts.LargeFont
LoadingTextFontName=EngineFonts.LargeFont

Hey thanks Nebuchadnezzar, that works great on 4k!
If the value is greater than 20, the subtitles disappear

Thank you for all the information. This fixed the issue for me as well. Here was my experience.

The config file I needed to change for my installation was located here:
[install folder]\Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config\DefaultEngine.ini

I only changed the Subtitle font in the [Engine.Engine] section:
from: SubtitleFontName=WarfareFonts.Fonts.WarfareFonts_Chrom20 to: SubtitleFontName=EngineFonts.LargeFont

I left the Loading font set to WarfareFonts.Fonts.WarfareFonts_Chrom20. I did update the location of the Loading text (for a 4K resolution) to center it horizontally on the loading screen. I changed the X coordinate for the loading text in the [FullScreenMovie] section:
+LoadingTextX=620.0
I do not recall what the original value was. Also, I had to launch the game and load a save to see if it was centered (so this might be a pixel or two off but it was good enough for government work for me). So, YMMV and if you run at a different screen resolution you might need a different value (I have not tested that).

Also, I read these posts and implemented a few things found there as well (60fps is nice!):
