(American McGee) Cheshire Cat advice not working?

I have it set to c on my keyboard but he almost never pops up when i want him too. whats strange is when i played the priginal pc version it worked fine, anyone else noticed this too?

Only works in the original retail version. Broken in the new one.

It's sadly broken in the 2011 remaster along with the Vorpal Blade's hit sounds. You'll need VorpalFix to restore and fix the randomized sound selection function the original 2000 version had (among other things).

i see! im not very familiar with this type of stuff, how do i patch it myself with this?
