Steam Deck - Alice 1

Since Madness Returns notably installs in a different path on the Steam Deck and it seems nobody wrote about this:

I’m trying to set up American McGee’s first Alice title and I’m just a little confused on where I should put the alice1 folder and what I should change the ini file as the root folder to look into. Any help or clarification would be appreciated.

EDIT: got it up and running but now the screen is zoomed in af and upside down.

I don't remember where I read this. But all you have to do is map one of the back buttons to (alt + enter key), then press and hold it when launching the Alice game. That worked for me.
