broken game help needed pls

Hi everyone, so I know this game for some years now and I'm finally playing it !(And love it in despite of the bugs) but they're a lot of bugs and I need help for the umbrella bug normally: when I'm focusing on an enemy, then press "e" umbrella blocks the attack but here nothing happened, I just get stuck there for a while a YouTube video shows how to counte this bug now I have to fight the second monster and no umbrella the bug still here in the settings I've set the key on "é(2)" same thing happening, How a game like that after so many years can have such a lot of bug why EA doing nothing about older game?? We are buying those games we need a support for those games, if they can't support older games why still selling them ??(yes , it's always money)

and ea hasnt fixed this cause they dont care about the alice game American McGee went to ea with a new alice game (Alice: Asylum) and they said no, he had a design bible, the community wants it, and im sure he had more things. Im praying that they actually said yes and signed a NDA and said ea said no and then started development. (sorry for this rant just kind of upset lmao)

if that doesnt fix it let me know ill look into it for you
