Product Key Code
I installed the game, after buying it. However when i enterd in the Key code given to me, it did not work. I created an EA account for this game however it says when i enter it that it could nto activate Alice: The Madness Returns. I do not know what the issue is with the provided key Code, i request some help to figure this out.

I have the same issue. I never even recieved a product key code at all! I dont know what to do and I really want to play this game I JUST bought. People really need to see this issue and fix it ASAP because I thought this was a reputable source for PC games.

At first I had some issues as well. I have an EA / Origin account, so I entered that. However, since I also have 2-step verification on my Origin account I suppose that this was causing a bit of problem for the game. Or maybe the game was expecting to be in my Origin library, which it obviously is not since I bought it on Steam :D.

So I decided to continue and got the option to enter a CD key. By now I was sort of in-game so how do you get the CD key? Well, the "nag" screen/window with this key was still at the bottom right of my screen. So I pressed ALT-TAB and clicked on the "copy to clipboard" in the CD key window. If you do not have such a window when in Steam overlay there is a button to activate this window. After that you can just copy-paste the CD key and continue with the activation process.

This is how it should play out. If it does not, maybe mentioning what actually happens in detail would help anyone willing to help you. "It did not work" is somewhat difficult to assist with so if you get an error screenshot it or write down what it says. We might or might not be able to help you. If all else fails, how painful this is and how long such a process can take: contact Steam. (I know, I burned my mouth saying that).

I have done everything you have said. The whole copy paste thing, nothing im just gonna wait for this to be solved.

"Nothing" is a little hard to debug. I doubt it will solve itself though since this is a pretty old game and EA does not really do things like support... well, ok, I am not the one to jump on the bash-EA-just-because-band-wagon but it is a game they have in their own store, so it is not very likely EA is going to solve issues with the Steam version of it. If you have anything more to share about the error you get or describe maybe in a little more detail what you did and what you see on screen happening, someone might be able to help. I must have missed it though, but did you create a full blown Origin account? Not "just" an EA account. Thing is, when you enter the CD key, it actually redeems the key on Origin through Steam (how Frankenstein can one get) so when you open up Origin, you'll have the game there as well... Otherwise you could always just redeem it in Origin and install and play it from Origin. Either way should work I have read.
