A damn good question. Rights belong to EA, EA hates Steam, EA wants to drag everyone to Origin. That's not good.

Yeap, and they don't republish Alice 1 for some reasons. So it's likely Alice 3 would be Origin-exclusive or at most published somewhere else, but not on Steam. Though it can't be GOG 'cause EA sure will add some nasty DRM as well.
But it's too early to tell anything anyway, it's not even in development.

I think it's really sketchy that they are using patreon. It screams desperation.

Things haven't gone too good lately, you know that Spicy Horse is closed? American is pretty much on his own now.

American hasn't even sent his proposal to EA, LOL. They're not struggling at all. They're taking it nice and slow. They want the proposal done right. Also for anyone that wants to know it's a prequel that takes place before the first Alice game.

If you have an origin account you need not have the game installed in their system at all, it turns out. Just install here, register the game in Origin's library under your account but start it here, play it here, love it here.
