Where do I find hardwood?

...I have a companion Boar King to ride around, I dismounted, clicked 'Stop Following', and went down into a mine. When I came back out the Boar King was gone, nowhere around. Now I cannot find him anywhere? When I go the my Altar (goddess statue) where we put soul stones in to create an animal, his icon is still there as if he is still in the game world. But when I try to move him to the storage tab on the right I can't do that...I get the message..."abnormal animal recycling" instead...?? Anyone any ins...

...I've being playing almost 20hrs and really enjoying Border Town. I have a few bows and can craft one too but so far no arrows blueprint.....any hints on where to look...? Thanx

By increasing favor with vendor, do they sell new products? I'm looking for green vege seeds.
