Rain system/collecting and general info
Hey!
I love the game so far(i played in EA 50-60hrs and did all for EA possible, atm around 30hrs after release).
Exellent tanner workbench have copper water tank and building/moving it where it could catch rain does nothing(water collector can catch rain and big ass copper water tank cant).
Same goes for Farms. While exposed to rain does nothing, why?

I found a lot of Tegu corpses around Juan Ponce de Leon's area(central island of hope).
I have a lot of tegu fresh hide but nothing to do with them even with exellent tanner workbench(forgot what unlock it but im at buffalo island atm and theres nothing).

Hostile creatures still after EA doing crazy jumps while AI pathing(dunno how to call it)?

Dont really like overheating weather/debuff. while for ex i can heal it with termites patch overheating rank 1 still remains. i understand that i am still exposed to sun but it should heal overheat rank 1 and then while exposed to sun eventully catch new rank 1 no ?

Like i said i really love my time with the game so far and i wish dev/team all the best
Greetings o/

Tanning bench, farms, cooking station etc. all have a "Water" tab at the top. Click that and add fresh water.

2. You need to find the recipe that uses Tegu skins before you can use them. It's located SPOILER in the temple that's out in the water near Red Island in the Buffalo region.

3. A new type of armor is available to combat overheating. Collect two types of seaweed and build a loom.

as for #1 that;s the thing i dont want to add water i want farm to water itself while exposed on rain. same for exellent tanning workbench. cooking station i duh you cant cook while its raining

#2 thanks, forgot about that temple
#3 will test that armor

Well the farms will refil their water in the rain, if the plants use it all you have the option to manually add more. As for 'wanting' equipment to gain water automatically, well that's not how the game is designed.

They already made crafting incredibly easy with the "pull from storage anywhere" mechanic added in. If the player has to manually add water it's not a big deal, make a half dozen bamboo water holders (15 units) of the leather water pouch that holds 40 units of water and even things like filling the solar desalinators is very quick.

If you're running around with a single water holder, like the coconut that holds 10 units, and the complaint is that takes too long, well that's the fault of the player, not the game. There's unlimited equipment you can make in the game, it's up to the player to figure out the best way to make it all work, and it's not difficult to do.

Farms do add water when it rains (or stop using the water you added).

Early morning, evening you don't get overheat. Sleep during hot hours. Work at night with a torch. Copper is cool until you know how to control heat.
