Answer a sword with a sword, worked for me

Iron armor + armor potion = you will barely take any damage on Hard
Put a point into potion crafting, make some potion if you don't have any left (they are cheap and can instant heal you, beside the obvious other bonus)

I used 1 buffalo (didn't even needed it) after a bomb at the start and killed everything with a sword, it's actually really not hard. the last part is kinda a joke, keep swinging, don't bother charging.

Damm, I wanted black panthera be the final boss. Think mortals are clumsy. And I love taking on immortals.

But the story is cool. You do get a NPC!

Will test boss tomorrow. Final island is neat.

We do get Pata Negra and Jamon. This is the reason to beat the game. Taste best Jamon from Spain and live!

Make next game about farming in the middle ages, feed cows, grow crops travel to capitol, explore woods, build house.

Had plenty of living water with me, not used since beginning. Just drink living water and you get best healing in game. I finished him in hunters armor with 0 protection on very hard. First I tried iron blots from crossbow, but they broke too soon. I had only sabre on me, just keep hitting him and running around on Puma potion. Stone statues hit harder in every stage. Fernan is a good swordsman fencer, but a poor runner. Athlestics lvl 7 I had and Puma potion for max stamina. Took almost 8 game hours to heal up after repeated close contact. He's a good boss, from the natives lore he who drinks living water becomes immortal, and he did

Stone Skin potion + Melee attack using MACUAHUITL "sword" and made quick work of him...

I used ranged on the statues - just target the red gems in their chests.
The boss itself was pretty easy with just stamina potion.

1. I had saved every single Living Water, and was forced to use 5 or 6 of them.
2. FIrst round, shoot the red spots.
3. When ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ comes down, sword him, don't worry about blocking.
4. Round 3 of the statues, I used the sword, the gun wasn't fast enough.
5. Super annoying boss fight, but I made it through the first time.
