Lost at Bimini (spoilers)
Sailed to Bimini, had fun dodging rocks in the storm to approach the island, now I'm supposed to find my way, in the darkness of a never ending storm, with my ship acting like its in a mosh pit, through some passages that all seem to lead to dead ends. Turned from fun to frustrating REAL fast. I turned my brightness to max, still can't figure out where I'm supposed to go. There are items on the rocks at these dead ends, so I even tried going on foot. Help!

On the far left side of all rock wall there is a uplit area where you dock your boat. After that it gets calmer.......

If you have the Ark ship you need to use the cannon to shoot the big red glowing rocks that you can see once you sail under the arch.

Agree the storms and fog are so dark in the game it makes it impossible to even see. Iron Island and Silver Island are really good for that I don't bother going there unless I need to.

That's not so easy to do, I keep repeating the mission because I can only get one or two blown out before I run out of cannon balls, I've tried moving the ship at different angles, and also the angles and height of the cannon, but with the ship bouncing up and down it makes it hard to zero in, I even got knocked off the ship twice from the bouncing, I also tried sleeping for a couple days to see if the storm would calm down and that didn't help either. Ugh.

Battlefield game practice helped me here.... still quick saving before each shot.

There is a bunch of ball and powder in chest. I think that's like 50 or 60 shot without the need to craft anything if you check around. Meaning even if you fail to hit anything 80% of the time you still have enough amunition.

Worse case, ammunition are dirt cheap.

You can also sit near the canon, so I don't really understand how bouncing around is an issue since it won't happen when you aim.

Just try to always fire when it's about the same wave height/angle, for example when it's high. This way you can correct after missing, and mostly negate the wave issue.

Then some of the target are about the same height, so you only need to move left/right after hitting one of them (height being the hardest part when aiming, it help).

And after all of that, you could just go to the crocodile island and use the other ship. Once you have it you just need to go here and the gate automatically open, so no aiming required.

Keep the ship near the burning lamps - under the stone arch and further in (after you drop the first two walls). The seas are much calmer near the lamps.

Thanks, that worked, I made it to the island.

I kind of liked the idea of using the Stormbreaker as the cannon on the Ark seemed too heavy-handed.

So the Stormbreaker is supposed to automatically remove the rocks that you have to break with the cannon if you're in the Ark? I did the same as the OP and ended up in the dead-end passages. Once I read this, I tried going back to the rocks and sailing right up to them, but all that happened was the Stormbreaker flipped upside-down and I had to sail away to get it righted. Frustrating.

I guess I'll have to come back with the Ark.

The storm breaker let you go take ANOTHER passage to the center. There is two way in.

The "right" side require ark + canon multiple time

The "left" side require stormbreaker + just sailing in rough water in a narrow passage (maybe don't go here with just 10% durability left)

Ah! I think the rocks and storm had me focused on what was in my immediate area. Didn't spot the light near the Stormbreaker gate until I went looking for it. I thought that the "dead-end" area was what was meant by "left of the entry point". Thanks!
