Status effects here will be prominently displayed here while they are intentionally kept small to force the player to pay attention in Green Hell. However both games emphasize keeping an eye out on said effects as they can quickly stack and go out of control.
This isn't a real time survival sim like Green Hell. This is more Long Dark with time management for actions. It's early access and its not as polished, but there is a lot of content (I'd say 40~ish hours at the moment if you want to explore everything.)
Like always, I strongly recommend watching a Let's Play on YouTube before buying, but there are only so many open world survival craft games. This is not one of the bad ones like Stranded Deep, but its not as polished as a released Green Hell or Long Dark.
