WTF Final Stage?

Actually that is probably what you SHOULD do first time just because there is a lot of information in the tips section about stun and stagger properties and attack usage that you really need to know to perform that fight at any level of skill

I just kept on banging my head against the wall honestly until I won, then I died to the actual boss. Their attacks kept on stacking and tagging out just meant both of my characters would get pummeled. Don't use the health items early or just farm health items by performing super KOs. That's the best advice I got.

thank you everyone. I used Marian & Uncle and I didn't know that Marian is sooo good, that was much easier to control the enemies using ground special (mine) and rocket launcher combo. And in my very first run, I thought she's the weakest character and useless at all xDD

Last stage I used Billy and Abobo in my second playthrough (first playthrough I had to cut short due to scheduling, so I took the 10k and ran), but the strategy for the 4 bosses came down to beating Anubis first, then the others. Anubis' teleport on first hit and his AoE are probably the worst effects to deal with when juggling multiple enemies, especially when one of the others has a gun, but with the AoEs gone, it's safer to stun lock the rest of them into an infinite. A lot of deaths happened mind you to get to this point, but I had the money in that run to do so since the other stages only ever took 2-3 deaths from me at most.

Didn't have any left for the final boss however, but still managed to win with hit and run tactics using dive kick/dash attack > special. One key thing to note with any boss with armor is that they cannot handle moves that do single hit launches or knockbacks (in my case, Abobo's dive kick and Billy's dash attack), so sticking to single hits can somewhat safely grind the final boss down to nothing.

Yeah, that bit is important: There is no hyper armor for ANYONE against knock attacks, so if you can lead with a heavy hit you can shut down the boss's tricks. Of course, the Mayor is ahead of you on that with his goofy defensive special that you can't really get through to hit him but careful offense can be your best defense.

VERY careful of course because if you can't recover quick enough you'll eat ♥♥♥♥ from the tech->air counter

I just found your post after posting the same thing.

I personally did not have fun at all at last boss fight, 4 bosses at the same time plus the final fight with the city mere I find it as a very stupid and cheap way to make the game challenging, is not fun at all.

That's my biggest issue with this game - it feels balanced around that OP character because fighting Boss #4 and the FInal Boss using melee is just suicide. They evade attacks, interrupt specials, pull of some of the biggest BS counters I've ever seen and are overall difficult, even on the lowest difficulty settings. Idk, maybe the game expects you stack ton of upgrades by the time you reach these bosses, but those don't affect boss behavior either way

That said this stage is a pain and be ready to shell out lots of tokens until you learnt it perfectly. Or just accept the 10k and sod off

I just abused Bill'ys air kicks that stagger and air specials. Maririan also works.

but yeah using Billy's air kicks and roaring dragon special spam killed the boss for me though it was close I forget if it was my firs or second attempt that i did this.

if you want to use a boss character anabuis's first special comes out pretty fast and can't be canceled once it starts. and covers a large area. and as long as you attack hop. you should be kept out of trouble.

i first beat the game with Jimmy and Marian.
Marian is the S tier, so no comment for her.
For Jimmy to control the 4 bosses, u just continue to do the Dash Kick attack,
I feel quite easy to vs them in the last stage.

Of coz for Marian, Land mine is your best tools to control. 4 bosses
