Would you always force playing white in chess given the option even if you are misserable throughout the game?
What you mean to say is that my standards are too high from playing games that use good game design to encourage using everything at your disposal to win. I'm just going to go back to other roguelikes that do this well but I figured I'd drop some feedback because the game seems promising.

I just tried the bat gun on her for the first time on D12 and got to the point that i stopped firing with 1 minute left and the enemies kept dying all on their own for the full minute.
If you can literally walk away from your PC and still win, maybe a combo is a little too strong.
