Lethal Company no longer working after my computer shut down and Windows updated?
situation :(
the game used to work fine for a while until one day i was running the game and i had a windows update (probably related so i decided to include it)

now when starting the game it shows a grey, red and then white square in the middle section of the pc, followed by a black screen. game audio doesn't play as well.

when i run the game with bepinex using r2modman, it starts normally until it reaches [Message: BepInEx] Chainloader startup complete, and then it starts repeating the code below repeatedly.

ive tried some solutions to this problem when searching them online and it doesnt seem to work. (verifying files, deleting all files and reinstalling,

solved!

when pirating, i had the MoreEmotes mod, which had put files for the emotes in the 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ZeekerssRBLX\Lethal Company' . i deleted those and it solved the problem

step by step:

opening the command prompt

typing regedit, which opens the registry editor

then, expand the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder, where you'll find the Software area.

find the ZeekerssRBLX\Lethal Company folder, and delete anything aside from the default file at the top
