Toy robot sometimes doesn't make noise

I was trying out this week's challenge moon and there was a robot near the entrance. I could pick it up and it wouldn't make noise until I swapped off of it and back to it it seemed. I can't quite figure out if picking it up while holding something or picking it up with an empty hand is the cause. Once it does start with the noise, it works for the rest of its existence. It's just somehow it can be glitched starting out, which could probably be taken advantage of to get it back to the ship without issue.

This is not a bug.

Noisy items (like the robot toy and teeth) have a chance to not make noise when picked up (I think it's around 20%)
This is most likely to make it easier to take these items back to the ship while dogs are around.
