Can't see or hear Player

I loaded into a game though a steam invite, as did the third player. Player 3's voice was stuck in the home base. At first he was invisible. But when going into the main entrance, his body was moving and interacting with treasure, but in one location at the front door. His voice was still back at base. When using walkie talkies, his voice wouldn't go through it, it was still stuck on the ship. Oh and the game changed his username to Player #.
