Coil head bug

I was playing with a full lobby and we encountered a coil head, I told the rest of the group that I would watch the coil head as they left. It was all the way down a long hallway but under a light so I could still see it. once I was the only one still looking at it, it sprinted all the way down the hallway at us and chased one of my buddies to the main entrance and killed him, all while I stared at it the whole time saying stuff like "WAIT WTF IT'S MOVING AND I'M STARING AT IT"
I wish i recorded the clip in the moment but was so shocked I forgot to. After it killed the guy it was chasing it stopped moving as I was still looking at it. Don't know if it was a bug or the coil head just had a vendetta against him.

I got this issue too. Im basically still moving a lot since i just drag him to me then walk backwards to progress but as time move on he just chased me even when i see him

The lore is that (probably to cover this very bug) is that, they choose to not move when you look at them, theres nothing stopping them, but they wanted to toy with you, so this coil head is probably impatient
