Teleporter bug

I'm unsure if my friends and I are just missing something but the teleporter wouldn't work for anyone but the host who was staying on the ship. They were also the only one to have the blue effect around them when the button was pressed. The teleporter would still run when anyone else was selected but the other three of us wouldn't get the blue effect or actually get teleported. It even stayed broken when we left to the company store after the rest of us got eaten. We were on Vow and I grabbed a light apparatus and went back to the ship to drop it off. Then three of us went back in and out but through the fire exit this time before being eaten while our host tried to teleport us all. I can get the player.log if needed from each of us once they wake back up if needed.
