Odd Black Screen

So I'm running this game on my old laptop and I noticed that the game loads normally until you get into the title screen where there's nothing but black screen. Oddly enough, I know the position of the options in the menu because of sound effects and I was able to host a game but the display still shows nothing.

Steps:
- Open the game.
- Shows Unity Logo.
- Shows Company Logo.
- Loading (the mouse indicates it is loading).
- Shows in game mouse but there's nothing in the screen.
- Can hover on something (You could hear sfx).
- Can click but nothing was displayed on screen.
- Can host and hear the in game sounds but the screen was still black.

My computer isn't old (acer aspire 3, intel i5, 8gb ram, literally every requirement except for graphics card, but other games that need even better cards than Lethal Company run just fine on my computer) but I also get the white screen.

Your computer is not old, but what about your monitor? Is your monitor possibly a HDMI 1.0? It seems my HDMI 1.0 monitor does it, but my 2.0 works fine. It made me wonder if there is a bug that is effecting that.
