My game stutter/ Lag whenever I face monster

Does anyone know how to fix this? My game will stutter/ freeze for about 1-2 seconds when I am near monster, especially turrets. I cant dodge or run at all and I always die. My PC specs is higher than minimums requirement and usually the game runs just fine. I really want to know how to fix this because this ruins the fun for me :(

Are you modding?

If so, lower the amount of mods in it. If not, it might be connection issues or your PC is getting old or something. I'm not sure. Best of luck, though.

It's a known issue for a lot of people and can happen even on decent systems

I fixed this problem when I changed the power settings in Windows 10 to high performance (also for the best effect, you can add this command to the cmd "powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61" then you will have maximum performance and you can enable it in the power settings
