Where are things bought from the store delivered too?

It's different on each moon. It's always brought via the little ship that comes down outside and makes a little jingle of music, unless it is a shipgrade, in which case it is instantly added inside of the ship.

You need to land on a moon and it will get delivered via drone.
It takes about 40 ingame minutes to get delivered if you ordered from space or about a couple seconds if you ordered on surface.

The drone will play a jingle to let you know its there and where it is at.

You can buy at the company too so there is no need to start the ship after your paycheck.

Like Mundane said. Ship upgrades spawn directly in your ship after purchase. This includes suits and other misc items like tables.

Also Also ! You can move pretty much anything, with very few exceptions, in your ship with "B"
Yes this includes the light switch.

The game it would take an hour. I landed for a while but the game said I had to take off do to unsafe conditions. I landed again and nothing. I went to the company building and nothing. Went back to where I was and nothing. I'ml at 0 days for quota and haven't done anything since I didn't have any equipment. I'm confused and lost.

Have you stepped outside the ship? You will see that there is a clock. This clock shows a time. This time progresses far faster than what it does for us in the real world.

The "hour" is not referring a real world hour. It is an in game hour. The supply ship comes down, you hear a little musical jingle from the supply ship, and you get your stuff from the supply ship.

It really is not that difficult.

items like the shovel/zap gun/flashlight are delivered by a drop pod that spawns in a set location depending on the moon

I'm assuming you understand the Terminal considering you have at least (presumably?) ordered items and just happened to miss them. Direct your first course to "The Company" moon. Order yourself a few flashlights. Your first runs are likely going to be spent dying by falling into pits over and over. A flashlight for the first few runs is a big help in just figuring out the layout of stuff.

Then, I'd start ordering Shovels, and trying to use a Flashlight less and less. This leaves you an extra hand free for more loot, and means you can start fighting off some of the bigger issues, being the actual monsters.

You'll get there.

The remote works from ANYWHERE too.

You only get one chance at getting your ordered items. If you miss the drone you missed out on the items and the money.

I figured it out. After restarting from failing, bought the stuff, landed, then after about 30 mins in-game time the drone appeared. It didn't before..
