Despite this game being on pc only. Would this game ever get to consoles too? I have friends that don't have pcs that'd like to play this.

It's early access, so it's very likely it'll be a long time before it's ported to other platforms.

game is better with a mic and mods anyways, you really can't expect console users to have mics and they definitely can't install mods

I believe the PS5 has a built in mic in its controller, so that would be an option.
About mods, yes and no. Modded consoles are a thing but one would have to go through a bunch of more steps to do that compared to modding games on PC, so it might not be feasible for the majority of players who don't want to get into it, but it is absolutely possible.
