Repo might be a little inspired by lethal company, but it's also probably inspired by all the 4-6 people co-op horror games. To say it's a copy is a stretch lmao.
Just go watch videos of it or play it, asking about it on forums is just dumb.
and i got slandered for calling it out, apparently im his alt and would ♥♥♥♥ him...
anywyas apparintly it differs more than what would appear at face value but i still find it hart to beleive that their entire intention was just slap content warning physics into lethal company
to then make whatever adjustments that had to be done to make it legal enough not to be sued
no you cant not even the core mechanic is similar all you can go off is just 4 player co op
repo is just lethal company but with its own enemies and store system and an addition of proper stealth mechanics, maybe it does more different than what is on face value ill give you that
but to act like the comparison is even close is just pure ignorance
Think thatl be enoug? maybe itl get rid of the people whining in these forum but its not gonna be enough and the project would get dropped because unlike zeekers the studios main focus would appear to be money
not charged to read it, after 2 weeks (14 days) its free for everyone, yes still a bit scummy but thats just how his supporting method went way before lethal came popular and where he will find himself back up regardless of how much effort he puts into his one hit wonder
and updates arent the exact term id use either something like status report would be more accurate
Except he worked on the game for 10 months (which is way way past the 3-4 month hype train) before dropping because as he said himself he needs a break and decided to put effort elsewhere while he recoverd from his creative burnout
which i still find the "he owes us argument" is just really bad argument to make especially when the early access is a literal warning for the fact it could be dropped at any point
good for you and move on then, doesnt mean im not going to call the game out for being what it is.
never spesifically said the game is bad or anything just that its a clone and that i heavily doubt that itl last long
