may be you can fix this with mods
The bugs that exist in my mod currently are:
-The scanner scans, but all you can see is price value and not the actual scan lock-on circle with the entity name. So basically the scanner is useless outside of price estimation.
-Asset pop in is really bad with some trees and outside props. The game thinks you are farther away than you really are so the scaffold stair tile in the complex does not render unless you're in the middle of the stairs. It looks like an empty gap to cross even though the stairs and the scaffolds still exist. This occurs on any FOV over 103. lower FOV is stable.
Other than those bugs the game feels great with ultra wide support. The way that the visual effects are done in the game just made it a bit more tricky and require a bit more coding than just changing some values around.
If someone has any ideas or would like to help me fix the bugs so I can release it to the public ASAP, please let me know and I can credit us both in it. Otherwise you guys can expect my ultra wide mod to come out in the next couple weeks :) it will be called "Lethally Wide" so just keep a look out for that!
Humans have a fairly wide field of view, ultrawide just makes everything look more natural to how your eyes really are, as such enemies that only move when they're not on your screen behave more naturally and make a lot more sense. If this was such a big issue then many games simply wouldn't have an FOV option especially horror games, that just isn't the case.
Dont know if you solved the problem but i've too been searching for an ultrawide mod for my 3840x1080 monitor, the mod name is "LethallyWide by FyreBytes"and if that doesnt work search up on google the site noxus mods and letthaly wide mod and u can paste the file in ThunderStoreMod Manager. Hope it helped.
