step 1. you need Bepinex and the moresuits mod, as far as i know, you can't make a skin without it. here the link to the Thunderstore pages (they'll have a step by step process for how to install them correctly) :
https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company/p/BepInEx/BepInExPack/
https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company/p/x753/More_Suits/
step 2. once you have the moresuits mod installed, you'll want to open up the moresuits folder inside your Bepinex plugins folder that you just put into the game files, this is where you put all your custom suits.
step 3. this is where you actually make the suit. Copy and paste the default suit so you have a suit to edit, then open it up using an image editing tool, (I just use windows paint, but you can use any fancy thing like Aseprite if you want to)
step 4. edit! use the built in tools of whatever you're using to draw over the already existing parts of the suit. remember to test your skin in game to make sure everything is working correctly.
**RECOMMENDED** if you're having trouble finding which part of the skin is which, download a skin that has easily identifiable parts so you can find the face, arms, chest and legs easier.
***VERY IMPORTANT*** Everyone in the lobby who you want to be able to see your skin NEEDS to have it installed.
Hope this helped a little bit for someone!
