Do mods work on the steamdeck?
Can someone help me on how to install mods on Linux (Steam Deck)? There is little information on this topic on the Internet.

Yes, you can install mods on the Steam Deck using BepInEx.

1. Download the latest 5.x release of BepInEx from the official releases page.
Make sure you get the "BepInEx_x64" variant. Do not use the unix variant.
2. Copy the contents of the archive to your game directory.
3. Open your Steam game properties and add the following to launch options:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp.dll=n,b" %command%
4. Start the game once to generate config files and directories.
5. You can now place mods ".dll" in the BepInEx/plugins
folder.

There are no mods.

You need to find where the game is installed, and install BepInEx into it. I think you'll need the unix version for Linux. Then you can install mods (and their dependencies) into the plugin folder if it's just a dll file.

I don't know if thunderstore mod manager works for steamdeck but manually installing should work. before you do it manually though, definitely check to see if anyone's got thunderstoreMM to work on deck. that will be the easiest way

Thunderstore, unfortunately, does not work on Linux. There is r2modman, which supports Linux, but it cannot install mods specifically for Lethal Company. Installing mods manually also didn't give any results, although maybe I'm doing something wrong. BepInEx simply refuses to work.

Oh, it’s a pity I saw your answer late, it’s much simpler than what I used. This method helped me, but as I understand it, it’s the same:

I’m having issue wi the game resolution after installing BepInEx on Steam Deck. It doesn’t detect correct resolution anymore, only displays unplayable poor resolution :(

Try installing according to these instructions. It helped me. Just carefully read the notes about SteamDeck.
