Yes, press / to bring it up. For now you have to pause while typing. Otherwise, delete your whole sentence, or hit enter with what you have to back out.

text chat also works like voice. If you are too far away from friendlies then no one sees it. it gives you a notification if no one sees it.

I pressed / by using shift and 7 but it dosent work even on the number pad dosent count if its locked or not
