skin stealer. he take a your skin. he take a your voice and lure the others. he look a like you. do not go.

wow an enemy that copies voice samples is pretty wild. but should be an enemy that only kills the players separated from the group, and kinda posseses the body and stand still in position while using random sample of your voice. there is a lot more of "behaviour" that should be well tought and worked on, but its a nice idea.

i guess using premade voice samples would be it, but then it'd only be getting newbies

P.S. i googled about that and i think just adding some sort of disclaimer or setting would do the job

No, you have to opt-in to it though. There are also restrictions on how long the recording can be held and where it is stored. SCP:SL has opt-in voice recordings for one of their SCPs (the dog) for example. Basically, if the player is given the choice and it's clear where the sample is stored, who has access/what's done with it, and how long it's stored it should be fine. Completely doable for this game especially since the connections are P2P

Alternatively you could always just have a monster that takes over the players body, walks around, opens doors, carries items, giving players a false sense of security when they see one of their own walking in the distance. I think that alone would be pretty effective already.

In scp secret lab players that play as an instance of 939 are able to steal audio recordings of people that they have killed.

This only happens if the person who was killed consents to their audio being used.
