Is it possible to have an A.I. enemy that copies a players' voice like I've seen some people suggest?
Basically an enemy that kills a player and imitates their look/movement, or even captures voice data to generate speech using the victims voice. I thought I was the only one that thought of this idea, but I've seen several posts up already for some variant of it.

My question is, would something like this even be possible? Would a privacy policy need to be signed, is there an A.I that could generate a voice fast enough? It seems like a crazy pipe dream. I think it would be absolutely hilarious though to watch people continue on thinking their buddy is alive until they slowly realise they've been replaced with an impostor.

current technology does not allow for on the fly voice generation.

plus there may be some legal hassle with recorded player voices.

Wouldn't it be possible to copy some random lines and just play them though?
They might not make much sense but that only gives them away and makes them more balanced.

And I don't think there would be any real problems as long as they are only used during the stay on the moon

There is a game that delays imputs or jumbles up on when they would be said to troll players. I forgot the game name few youtubers played it.

Instead of an A.I It may be an enemy that will take "control" over you so the player could actually still be alive and talk to his friends and try to warn them ect

AI is overhyped.

Few issues with this, How does it kill the player? What happens if its figured out? Why would the "parasite" or what ever inside the host let it speak and reveal its inside?

What happens if it doesnt kill and the players let in onboard? etc

tech and privacy concerns aside, that would be cool, but realistically i think an AI that just controls a body would suffice

Idk just for funny shenanigans i thought, but the mimic should only realistically mimic the appearance of an player it kills and roam around the place that would probably the maximum you could implement.

Then thats an A.i / Hostile creature not player being controlled.

Since everything else would be problematic with data protection,...
How about if there were types of monsters who kidnap people into their dark corners and leave them tied up or blind there as a trap to catch others.

The player would be unable to move and would not be able to use any items but would still be able to scream for help to attract others if he wanted to.

The whole thing mixed with RNG or the proximity of other players whether and when the monster actually kills him, but with the possibility that he can still be saved.

I WISH there was probably not AI but atleast a mimic enemy it would be the scariest part probably, a lot of times I just see my friends in the labs and instinctively think they might be mimics/impostors and a game like this will benefit from enemy like that (if executed correcty ofc)
