Can't see a friend in a session

As the title says, whenever I join a game with friends, I can see everyone perfectly fine, but once the ship lands, my friend completely disappears except for some certain details:

1) Their voice still emanates from the spot they disappeared from (in the ship)
2) Any item they pick up disappears and "respawns" where they put it down
3) On the terminal I, myself, cannot switch to view them, but my other friends can switch to observe them, but I will see them as "Player #1-4" on the terminal screen.

We have tried closing the game a relaunching but to no avail, does anyone have any fixes?

Just had this several times as well. Along with that, we also had some people unable to hear others or both can't hear/see other players. Disbanding the whole lobby and rejoining fixed it, but it would happen again a bit later :/

do any of you have mods installed? because if you do then the game might be bugging out because of them

Have the player who cannot be seen in the session leave and come back. They should load back in for the person who cannot see them

I've had that happen.

But when we go inside a building it gets fixed

Same its happening to me and people cant see my and I dont know what is happening, people just cant see me at all

Had this issue, fixed it by adding as steam friend the people I had problems with.
