(Now working)Shadow play doesn't work

When I play I don't have the icon to record the game via shadow play although it is enabled and it records. When pressing the shortcut buttons or through the overlay after pressing nothing happens on the video card 3060 asus rog strix. Although a friend has a laptop 3060 everything is saved

i've had the same problem too. if u enable desktop mode it should work. Its because the game is under "Desktop" for some odd reason

if you go to nvidia control panel and add it under "manage 3d settings">program settings, it should work. Add lethal company.exe

The way I fix it was to go into the settings and put it in windows mode and restart the game. then open the game back up and put it back into full screen and it starts working again.

If you are having the issue where Geforce Instant Replay is not working or you can't record in general, go to your Geforce Overaly > Settings > Privacy Controls > and turn on Desktop Capture.

I am turning on insta replay and it's saying clips were saved but nothing is showing up in my history.

Does this require a restart or change of any settings after adding it? ? I'm not sure if I need to restart my game or if my keybind for recording being CTRL+Left arrow, with control crouching.

found the solution!
dont launch the game with the desktop shortcut that was created with the installation. Go to your file explorer and go to your disk on wich the game is installed. Then go to "SteamLibrary" - "LethalCompany" and create a shortcut of the "LethalCompany.exe". Use this shortcut to launch the game always! Last thing to do is open your nvidia control panel and go to "3D Settings" click on "add" and look for the "LethalCompany.exe" located in the path I mentioned before. After you added it to the list you can launch the game via the new shortcut and clipping should work again :)
