Can't join LAN games?
My wife and I are on the same network, firewalls disabled on the local PCs however we can't join each other's lan games, is there something we're supposed to be doing?

It worked for me - first player selects lan mode then hosts a lan server, the second selects lan mode then join lan game option.
I even did it successfully running two copies on the same PC to see if that worked.

Maybe make certain you’re both on the same router/network? Hard to say without more info on what went wrong.

Did test with additional Built-in FW rules, same error here XD

Bepinex testing with Lanfix Mod(s) over Wireless/Lan, reproduces same network/netcode issues XD

Hoping they can integrate a robust LAN module on next version. XD

Me and my friend can't play the game in single network, we wanted to do it because of the voice delay that online gives is very annoying considering we are basically in the same room and hearing the voice repeat itself with a 1 second delay makes my brain go boom

Alright, after some research and troubleshooting the most likely solution is a simple one, a firewall is blocking the connection and maybe whoever reads this has multiple (router, appliance or PC/Laptop).

For me it was the software firewalls on the laptops and once I set up an allow/exclusion rule on each for the local IP addresses of the laptops in both directions, Ta-Da and done.
