freezing when playing with friends

It only happens randomly when one friend is hosting where they run in place but I can move around still. It didn't happen when another friend hosted. Don't know what's causing it

This has been happening in my group of friends as well. Most of us are in the US with a US friend hosting, and one friend in the Oceania area keeps having this exact issue of freezing in place for everyone else but still able to move, hear through the radio, grab items, pretty much everything. If their body on our end encounters an enemy they'll instantly die when they unfreeze. They have NO connection issues with any other applications, Discord, Steam, etc.

just certain connections do this, I cannot play if a one friend host but others work. When with randoms I select near me servers
