Lethal Company

Lethal Company

Teliot's Paper Rolls
Not sure if that is already known, but I think I just found something and thought I might wanna share it.

I just played solo and found one of the toilet paper stacks that take up most of your screen. While carrying it back, I looked at the label and read out "Teliot's Paper Rolls" just casually. And I thought to myself "Teliot - is that a company, or a person? What if I enter that name in the ship terminal? Maybe I get some info, lore or whatever?"

Back at the ship, I used the terminal and simply enterd "teliot". The terminal replied with a message like "The items you want to purchase cost 130 credits." At the time, I did not have the credits, but "Teliot" was not in the store.
Then I wondered if the terminal thinks I want to buy a "toilet". I entered "toilet", and I get the same message - that is, the terminal tells me the toilet would cost 150 credits. Not 130.

I finished my shift, sold my scrap and entered "teliot" again in the console. This time, while I had the credits, the terminal said "This item is currently out of stock."

Did I find something here?
If that is nothing new to you guys, can you tell me what item I would get if I bought "teliot" (if it would ever show up in the store - I haven't played too much LC in the last months)?

But why is there a price difference then? "Toilet" costs 150 credits, "teliot" costs 130 credits?

I have toilet in the weekly shop and bought it.

When i put Teliot: This item is out of stock.

When i put toilet: This has already been unlocked for your ship.

Yeah its part of the games lore that everything is in low supply.

Edit: I tried this with a few other items. This is the only one that does this.

So it appears you would get different items if you bought using the different words "toilet" and "teliot". Or maybe it's just some loose spaghetti-code/bug? I don't know.

I mean if you weren't supposed to buy something by using the word "teliot", wouldn't the terminal just state that it doesn't understand the input?

the game only checks for the first few letters for stuff you type into the terminal, so it probably thinks your trying to buy a television
