Too many kids playing
Am I the only one that has noticed that just about every game? There's a child whose sounds like their parents do not understand what the rating means

if i was to guess the games age rating id say around about 16, theres a little it of gore (only 18+ thing i can think of is being killed by the barber)

and its not as if parents been ignoring age rating for ages or anything either anyways

but that aside i mean yea kinda, its what you expect when its a game trending by youtubers who have a influence over younger audiences

with its wacky cartoonish appeal with wacky funny moments yea it makes sense despite the gritty down to earth nature of this game aspect in this game

they will soon enough vanish tho the game has lost its appeal and i assume come came back due to being a year old to soon enough vanish again

The game isn't really that bad for kids. yeah it's a bit scary with a lil bit of gore but it's cartoony and unrealistic. I don't see a problem with kids playing Lethal Company.

well ima go off the fact that a game like terraria has an age rating of 13 for its gore so, not to mention being a horror bassed game giving stupid lil kids nightmares (not anymore but thats the rules age rating have to obide by)

16 to me seems like a resonable age id expect to be given

Eh, 16 still seems a bit too high. The most gore this game has is being chopped in half by the Barber. All the decapitation and what not happens way too fast by the game's natural pace for it to be something to dwell on tbh. The game is generally too cartoony for something like 16+ to even feel justified lol.

I feel like the only reason for this to have 16+ is the vc, since the window of profanity that it can have is obv limitless.

Honestly tho, I agree, it is kinda annoying seeing lobbys filled to the brim of kids who should probably be playing more age appropriate things. I think 16+ is way to high tho because the game is made in mind with funny and silly stuff happening. I'd say 13+ or maybe 11+ is a bit more appropriate.
(Maybe thats just me cause my boldass wasnt scared of nothing back then)

The ratings are just guidelines, and all they do is tell you what to expect from the game, nothing more. If you're under the age that the rating requires, then you do technically need the parents permission to play it, let alone pay for it, but that's it.

I've let my kid play way worse, I grew up playing worse than most the stuff out nowadays like many others, but it's really just up to parents to gauge how mature their kids are so just let kids have fun. Don't like it? Find friends to play with and not randoms, problem solved. You can also mute them too. I get kids can be annoying, so that's really all there is to it.

Overall, I've only really encountered a single lobby with kids who didn't know what they were even doing (yes 3 people in a single lobby not knowing what they were even doing). Every other kid I've encountered plays the game properly so I'd say that it's not too big of an issue for now. Also my take on the age rating, I'd say that it's 12+ or something like that.

Considering TZP is basically drugs, it would at least be [Teen] rated because it is an abusable substance

Ever since Fornight introduced the game's cosmetics it's been like this. So you either get used to it or play with friends-only.
