anyways never heard or seen of anythoung like that before, just the party hat blocking peoples view which was a minority issue
https://imgur.com/a/fDVC8DL
wild guess but it might just be a wide screen related thing, however this wouldnt explain why you didnt have an issue prior
maybe something like a mod ofset your camera position and the effects havent been removed properly (something like a fov mod)
however what im stating is like throwing a brick at a wall and hoping to make a dent
Edit: just looked at your image (as i saw your comment as i posted this) yea my theory doesnt sound too far off
the game creates a visor effect by genuinly putting a 3d model of an visor infront of the players camera to replicate the effect
some mod mustve interfeired with this in some way, which the thing there is just usualy black / gray so its not really noticible
not really related but heres a video covering how the game is renderd was intresting to watch:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_-am00EXIc
well all i know is that people had a problem with the party hat rendering in front of the camera on aniversary (something that should have been out of view) and i wonder if that issue is related to this
but iv not encounterd this (only got a mod to show health and track credit count on ship) and my friend didnt encounter this either
so yea i think the mask infront of the camera is maybe getting light calculations projected onto it causing the white effect but this isnt really in my depth of knowlage so i really am just theorising here
for one the gmae normally doesnt do that.
secondly how is that your conclusion, you are wearing a a suit and the visor is getting lit up so if it somehow was intentional then logic doesnt make sense
