how does one put mods onto/into the game for one who isn't good with computers. also am playing on a gaming laptop...not sure if that's relevant. I need help and would love someone to explain in simple English how to add mods. I love watching one of my fav youtubers play the game but I can't seem to play the game myself because I don't have the knowledge on how to add mods for the game. like I'd ideally like to have the mods for :

1) flashlight/spray
2) knowing what time it is when you enter the building
3) a mod that helps show where ship is if you get lost? is that even a thing?
4)a map of each planet, if this also isn't a mod ...they need to make it one lol and I would be the first to use it! :)

go find thunderstore mod manager and download that its the easiest way to add mods to this game.
1 and 2 are definitly mods
i think the 3rd one is also a mod, there is a minimap mod but iirc it only works for interiors and also shows scrap and stuff(like the map on the monitor)

You can also export your mods as a code and give the code to your friends to install them with R2Modman

1. BetterSprayPaint by Taffyko (Infinite spray paint, color & brush size control, erase paint)
2. AlwaysShowClock by thomas (Clock shows when inside)
3. ShipScanEverywhere by TestAccount666 (Makes it so the ship node is scannable from much further away to making it easier to find.

I'm not sure what you're wanting in a flashlight mod though. There are mods that let you start with one, have infinite ones, add even better ones, or add realism by dimming over time.

I found the first 2, can't find the 3rd mod it's not showing up. the flashlight mod that i'm referring to is the extra slots that you get like on the side of your screen. thanks for all the help.
