What is the intended use of the car?

Every map is a dense forest or full of rocks, and the car's driving mechanics are cool, but realistic steering and weird acceleration is not useful for careful navigation lol. So like, is there a new map with more open straights or am I just bad?

Yeah, I don't really get it either tbh. Really strange addition considering how it's completely useless on most maps. Not to mention how difficult it is to drive the bloody thing.

people need to stop with this mindset, we all were ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with Jet packs for the longest time when they were first added and just like them, they have a learning curve that once you get a handle on they are a great tool to help transport loot

Rend stormy is a breeze with company cruiser as lighting is nullified by car

its just another jet pack scenario people think its useless and just for the funnies and then it became awesome when you learn how to use it. It can even take you to fire exits hard to get to by using the eject button. It can hold more items then jet pack too and two handed items. but as of right now its such a skill issue that I hate it! at least my friend is good at driving it.

It is a gimmick item meant for rare, funny moments and as a money sink. Unless, of course, you are looking to get scrap to the ship at a slower pace than walking, with a higher risk of scrap loss and player death then it is very useful.

Just made a 1400 haul on day on on Artifice with a 3 person team with the cruiser. It's vital to get that much money because I dont think you're going to haul 2 gold bars and a cash register and not have it take 4 in game hours

Controlling cars with wasd is faffy enough already. Putting in the time to get to grips with this game's esoteric driving controls on top of that doesn't feel worth the effort, frankly.

Exactly this.

This is why you don't spend money on early access!
You get an unfinished game right away, and then the devs have enough money to never ever have to work again, and you will never get any good updates!

Back in the day, games were good, because the "devs" had to work and THEN get paid.
Now games suck, because devs just have to say "i swear i am going to work!", then they get billions of dollars, and what exactly is their motivation then? At that point, from their view, they literally have to work without getting paid!

First off, the cruiser is not useless, it can be extremely helpful in scenarios where you want to leave no scrap behind, or you want to spend the majority of your time looting and not carrying things back to the ship, as with the cruiser, you’ll only need to carry it back once, and it’s relatively easy to use, I learned how to traverse all of the planets aside from assurance in only and hour and a half of driving. Second of all, v55 also included the fox and clay barber, not that you’d live long enough to see either. And lastly, the game is still being supported, with v60 coming out in 2 or less days. And v55 only came out a few weeks ago. Also, it had enough content to be satisfactory and considered a full game on release, only being $10 as well, you can’t even eat out for less than $10 anymore.
