Put the kidnapper fox back
I only saw one in my 7 hours of playing when they were added, they werent op at all why are they gone?

Because while the foxes were manageable, the vein shrouds had a lot of spawning issues. They'd easily overwhelm planets that you haven't even landed on and to make matters even worse, some would spawn so close to the ship that players could be killed before 9AM without even getting the chance to step off the ship. Meanwhile the weed killer did almost nothing to actually combat the threat.

While the name of the game is lethal company, that kind of obstacle isn't just annoying, it actively can't be combated or avoided. Zeekers will alter some of the spawning mechanics and add the little intrusive vermin back soon, but for now I welcome its exclusion.

sounds like the fox isnt the problem but the method of spawning them then? I can see that being fixed without making the fox weak.

2 days ago my group played lethal company with an update we landed on assurance (I don't remember name just second on list planet) and without a warning half of us were brutally killed by fox, next time we were on same planet, fox spawned again but it was last day and we had cruiser so it got killed
I still have no idea why they spawning

It may be a mod installed or perhaps you're still using the previous version.
add an alt use to the Shovel for digging up vein shrouds or loot or add like bush trimmers for cutting them down quickly

Any time you were to get past quota 4, you'd have a good number of vein shrouds on every map. By about quota 5 or 6, you'd have a forced fox to spawn on every map at the start of the day. Imagine having to deal with a giant that spawns the moment you land every day, can enter the ship and becomes more aggressive the more time that passes. Yeah you can kill it, but good luck with it taking a single hit to kill you, and requiring 7 hits to defeat. The fox is an insta-kill, can't be avoided, spawns at the start of the day and decides to enter the ship if you stay inside too long. Every other enemy in the game can technically be avoided by not going to a moon they're common on, but with the fox forcing himself into every game, that's not an option.

Kidnapper fox is brutal. You need to zap it and have two friends beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of it. Anytime it spawned it was gamble whether or not you'd even make it back to the ship.

It's fast as hell, it's an instant kill if you're not carrying anything, and it can snatch you right off the ship.

i had a fox every damn time and for about half of them there was 2-3 fox's. tonnes of the shroud too, admittedly tho it WAS worsened by mods but it was hard to deal with

We had the fun scenario where we had the fox infront of the door the first second we landed. One of my friends got yoinked by the fox the moment he got close to leaving the ship

That is sus af because there should only ever be one fox spawned in at a time unless you're using mods.
