New Player tips?

A friend of mine bought me the game as a gift, so I wanna make sure I know what I'm doing when we play later.

Just what's some general advice or more intermediate advice that I should know when I get into the game proper. Stuff I already know;

-Drop everything outside the door then ferry it back to the Pod
-Take the Generators last
-Never go alone (Or at least don't go too far)
-Drop Metallic options on the ground during storms
-Flash lights, shovels, walkie talkies, ect. are good early game investments.
-Try to recover bodies if possible
-Some stuff isn't worth picking up
-How certain classic monsters operate and act,
-When it's dark just run for the Pod

So if I need to know anything new or that applies to the latest update, let me know!

I'm also interested in Solo play, which I know is harder but I'm still curious. Any advice for that?

I say for you a very good luck you need it the monster are ramdom of each map and well good luck of all me too I try the game

Have fun, it's the best advice you will ever get, you have the basics, your friend will tell you or you will learn by yourself the rest.

If you wanna be the one staying in the ship, you can use this command via the terminal : VIEW MONITOR to have...well, the monitor showing up on the terminal, which mean you CAN see what your teammate are doing, and type command like the number on the doors/Turret/Mine/Traps. (note : you can use the command switch to change which player you are monitoring or switch playername to switch to the specified player)

(Doors : open/close, can be useful to access blocked area or block monster from reaching your teammate)
(Turret/Mine/traps/ disable for couple of seconds, then there is a little timer before being possible to disable)

I will give you an advice for 1 monster you will encounter pretty often, while trying to not spoil too much in case you want to discover the enemy, it's about the Snare Flea, if you are ever alone, after it attacks you, if you managed to take any exit it will kill it, and if you don't have any exit BUT you had a shovel or a stop/yield sign, you can grab them back and attack, it will take care of it. (when snare flea attack, they will make you drop your item)

wasn't planning on adding all of that after the have fun lol might spoil a bit, but i think your buddy would speak about those or you will encounter them pretty early honestly hope that help

You already know quite a bit, just hop in and have fun, don't stress it, learn as you go.

The only tip I would leave is that if you have a snareflea on your face (The parasite) it makes you drop your items, well if you had a shovel, crouch and scan the ground till you find the shovel, pick the shovel up then swing it, it will automatically knock the snareflea off your head, you can hit snarefleas off of other peoples heads too but be careful to not actually hit the person

sounds like you have a pretty good understanding already and are ready for the chaos that is LETHAL COMPANY. there are lots of videos explaining monsters if you want to get into the nitty gritty. HAVE FUN!!
