Lethal Company

Lethal Company

v55 Feedback
I'm going to start with what I like about the new beta/update

The Company Cruiser
I've seen countless complaints about it, so I'm going to say why it's good
The Cruiser is supposed to be garbage, we're working for a very low budget company that has expendable employees, so why would they waste money on getting us a very good top of the line vehicle? It fits perfect into the lore of Lethal Company. I'm ignoring the gameplay side of it because you just need to learn how to drive. If you don't like it simply don't purchase it

The Barber
Great enemy! I have hardly any complaints about it. Fits the style well and it's movement pattern is a unique twist on the game. Since it's not visible unless at close range, you must listen for it. I love it. Also gave my friend a good trimming, they should give him a tip :")

Kidnapper Fox needs a redesign
The concept of the fox is very good, my only complaint is the design. It doesn't fit the Lethal Company style and it sticks out. It doesn't have that "toy" or "cartoon" look to it like all the other enemies do. Perhaps it has too many polygons? Or too detailed of textures? Either way, please make it more like the other designs

Vain Shrouds needs to be nerfed/removed
They are HORRIBLE. By the time of the second quota they're everywhere around the ship. If they're left unchecked the foxes can spawn camp the ship. I hate that they spread as the days go by, even on moons we haven't visited. So imagine going to a moon for the first time in a run and having 20 of these things around

They turn the landscape into a literal jungle which is horrible to navigate and takes away the unique atmosphere of each moon. Weed Killer can take care of them, but it SUCKS. It takes several squirts to kill a shroud and the shroud's hitboxes are so BAD that my squirts miss a lot. I had to buy 3 weed killer bottles on a single moon we visited for the FIRST time in the run. Killing these things is a chore since we don't want to deal with the foxes

I think the Vain Shrouds shouldn't spread so rapidly, or should just be removed from the game. Maybe make their hitboxes for the weed killer better and maybe make the weed killer much more effective. I think both the Kidnapper Fox and Vain Shrouds could be replaced with something much better

Having two canine like outdoor enemies is a bit redundant. Plus I've seen too many enemies in games with a "long tongue" so it's getting a bit cliche imo I want something that will truly spice up the world of Lethal Company, we need more "artificial" type enemies if you catch my drift

If Zeekers is reading this I hope this will be helpful feedback on v55
I love the game and don't want to see it plagued by bad design choices

kthanksbye

I used to think that LC had an amazing aesthetic, but it's clear that the original look was a happy accident. Everything else that's been added just doesn't look like it belongs.

These updates take too long to add too little to the game.

I largely agree with most of what you've said here but I do simply not agree with the Cruiser. I like the idea and I do enjoy how it controls, it's been kind of fun learning how to drive. However, the issues with it are simply not solved by "Learn how to drive lol!!!"

The amount of jank I've ran into that does not fit with the whole "it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ vehicle from a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ company" shtick... namely dogs deciding that they should just attack it for no reason whatsoever (despite it being turned off with nobody in it when they're near it). Killing things with it seems extremely inconsistent at times. Loot falling through it inconsistently is quite annoying and I've had moments where I cannot grab loot out of it at all.

I also cannot get over the fact this was something added after the fact; the Cruiser feels viable on only a handful of the moons, which would be fine (I don't think it's something that should be viable on EVERY moon...), but the moons it's even remotely viable on could use some minor tuning at the very least, maybe some of the random rocks or cliff-sides could be cut down a little? Some terrain could be smoothed out just a little bit? It's a lot of fun to drive in my opinion so I guess I just wish there were more ideal opportunities to drive it.
