even the weeds are tedious without the wolf
1. the fox is cool, but he spawns almost every round and its always right by the ship. It seems to climb into the ship routinely making evac difficult. I kinda wish I could have my shovel equiped to fight it solo but it makes you drop inventory upon contact.
2. The van is cool. I enjoy the controls, seems as difficult as it should be for this sort of game, but the terrain is overwhelming. If there was a road cut into the maps I think that would make it more worthwhile. ATM I just seem to smash stuff trees and rocks and light posts.
3. Still like the game, but it just feels way harder.
I say this beta is weak.
Fox is ok but seems very op in health and sometimes bugged. Barber is actually scary but rare to encounter.
The meat of the beta. The cruiser. It's a useless fun garbage truck lol.
It was really good fun to mess around with it. But in the end it doesn't have much purpose to drive around with it since most of the maps are hilly and small. Enemies will pretty much destroy it quickly. Plus it's buggy.
I say the only thing that needs balance. Is the fox toned down a bit maybe hit points for it to killed easily? and maps maybe a small redesign like the company building that got a slope.
We'll see what happens at the end of the beta.
I think the vast majority of players agree that for now the dev needs to focus on adding more interiors and give actual reasons to visit some of the more niche planets like Embrion and I really hope the next update focuses on this
